FAQ ❓

What Are SIG Grip Modules Made Of?
SIG grip modules are typically made of durable polymer materials. 🛡️🔫 These polymers are lightweight, resistant to corrosion, and offer good grip texture for improved handling and control. The specific type of polymer used may vary depending on the model and generation of the grip module. Some popular SIG grip module models, such as the P320 and P365, utilize a polymer frame construction. These grip modules are designed to be interchangeable, allowing users to customize their firearms by swapping out different grip modules to suit their preferences or requirements. 💪🔧
What Size Grip Comes With Sig P320?
The SIG P320 comes with a medium-sized grip module as its standard configuration. 🤏🔫 This grip size is designed to accommodate a wide range of hand sizes and offers a comfortable and ergonomic feel when holding the firearm.

🧩 However, it’s worth noting that SIG Sauer also offers small and large grip modules separately, allowing shooters to customize the fit of the P320 to their specific hand size and preferences. So, if the medium grip doesn’t feel quite right for you, you can always explore the small or large options to find the perfect fit!

What Is The Difference Between The SIG P320 Carry And Compact?

Ah, the SIG P320 Carry and Compact, are two popular variations of the P320 series. Let’s dive in and explore the differences between them!🔍

The SIG P320 Carry and Compact models have a few key distinctions:

  • 📏 Size: The P320 Carry is, as the name suggests, larger in size. It typically features a longer barrel and slide, allowing for increased sight radius and improved accuracy. On the other hand, the P320 Compact is slightly smaller, making it easier to conceal and more suitable for everyday carry purposes.
  • 🔢 Capacity: In terms of magazine capacity, the P320 Carry often comes with larger magazines, accommodating more rounds of ammunition. This can be advantageous for those seeking a higher capacity for duty or self-defense purposes.  Meanwhile, the P320 Compact generally has a slightly reduced magazine capacity, striking a balance between concealability and firepower.
  • 💪 Grip Length: Another significant difference lies in the grip length. The P320 Carry typically has a full-size grip module, offering more space for a firm and comfortable grip, which can be beneficial for shooters with larger hands. On the other hand, the P320 Compact has a slightly shorter grip module, making it easier to conceal and handle for shooters with smaller hands.

It’s essential to consider factors such as intended use, hand size, and preferences when deciding between the SIG P320 Carry and Compact models. Ultimately, both options offer excellent performance and reliability, so you can’t go wrong with either choice! 🎯🔥😄

How to Clean P320 Grip Module Grip?
  • 1️⃣ Ensure Safety: Before starting any cleaning procedure, make sure the firearm is unloaded and the magazine is removed. Safety first!
  • 2️⃣ Disassembly: Separate the grip module from the rest of the firearm by removing the slide, barrel, and any other attached components. This will allow you to focus solely on cleaning the grip module.
  • 3️⃣ Remove Debris: Use a soft brush or cloth to gently remove any loose dirt, dust, or debris from the grip module. Pay attention to crevices and hard-to-reach areas.
  • 4️⃣ Cleaning Solution: Dampen a cloth or sponge with a mild cleaning solution. You can use warm water with a few drops of dish soap or a specialized gun-cleaning solution.
  • 5️⃣ Wipe Down: Thoroughly wipe down the entire grip module with the cleaning solution-soaked cloth. Pay attention to areas where sweat, oils, or grime may accumulate. Ensure you clean both the exterior and interior surfaces of the grip module.
  • 6️⃣ Stubborn Stains: For stubborn stains or residues, you can gently scrub the affected areas using a soft brush or toothbrush. Be careful not to scrub too hard to avoid damaging the grip module’s finish.
  • 7️⃣ Rinse and Dry: Once you’re satisfied with the cleaning, rinse the grip module with clean water to remove any remaining cleaning solution. Afterward, dry it thoroughly using a clean cloth or allow it to air dry.
  • 8️⃣ Reassembly: Once the grip module is dry, reassemble it with the other components of your SIG P320. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions or consult a qualified gunsmith if needed.
Does Swapping The Grip Module Require Tools?
No, swapping the grip module of a SIG P320 does not typically require any tools.

🛠️🧩 The design of the P320 allows for the easy interchangeability of grip modules without the need for specialized tools. You can simply remove the takedown lever and slide the grip module off the fire control unit (FCU). Then, you can attach the new grip module by sliding it onto the FCU and reinserting the takedown lever. It’s a hassle-free process that can be done by hand!

I am currently in possession of the SIG M18 and I am thoroughly enjoying it. However, I am unsure about whether I should go for the WC grip module or modify an X5 Legion grip to fit it. Although I am fond of the original grip module’s design, I am attracted to the X5L’s appearance and the flared mag well. On the other hand, the WC grip is more affordable.

I think I might receive criticism for this, but I personally prefer the texture and size of the polymer 80 grip over the Sig factory grip. In my honest opinion, the polymer 80 grip feels much better.

I installed a Wilson on my m17 which has a slick black body and tan slide. The weapon not only looks great but also feels comfortable. To enhance the grip, I added texture to it using a serrated blade. Although it might sound like a rough job, it actually helped with the slickness.

I conducted thorough research on grip modules and ultimately bought the Wilson Combat model, along with the Armory Craft tungsten weight kit. My intention is to use it for competition purposes, as I use the P365 as my personal carry weapon.

I found what I wanted. I tried a ZEV Z320 yesterday and enjoyed the grip, but I thought the price was too high for its appearance. I only bought an X Carry module, and after reading this review, I could also consider purchasing the Wilson Combat.

I have been using the 320 since 2016 and I really like its grip. Recently, I acquired another gun with an even better grip. Even if my hands are oily, I can easily hold the gun with a firm grip. It’s the best modification I have made to a handgun so far.
