🟩 Yes, the Glock 42 has a very short accessory rail integrated onto the front of the frame, below the barrel and in front of the trigger guard.
Specifically, it is a MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail section that provides a mounting platform for compact accessories like lights and lasers.
However, due to the small size of the Glock 42 subcompact pistol, the rail space is very limited in length. It measures only about 1.25 inches long.
I’m all about concealability, so I swapped out the standard grip frame with the Pearce Grip Frame Insert. It adds a bit of extra grip surface without making the gun bulkier, which is perfect for concealed carry.
The Glock 42 comes with a pretty small magazine capacity. Adding a +1 or +2 magazine extension can give you some extra rounds without compromising concealability.
